Seafood Cookery Lessons and Classes in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Brighton.

Your lesson will start with an introduction to seafood, which will give you the knowledge and information about the different fish species caught within UK waters.

Where possible, the fish provided for your lesson will be caught from off the Sussex coastline.

Within the lesson, we cover the various fish cookery methods, the presentation from pan to plate and we also look at ideal sauces to complement the fish. Our professional chefs will guide you through this fantastic fish cookery lesson.

  • Knowing what to look for when choosing good quality fresh fish from your fish market or fish monger (therefore increasing the sustainability of the fish you buy)
  • Discover the best fish to use for different methods of cookery.
  • Introduction to filleting, de-scaling and pin boning

Within this lesson, we will prepare, make and present three types of fish dishes,  fish used to include, cod fillet, sea bass, scallops#

We will also show you how to fillet and prepare the fish for cooking.

In addition, we will create three different sauces within this lesson including a red wine and caper sauce, beurre blanc sauce and a mushroom, bacon and pea broth to compement the scallops.

We will guide you and teach you through your lesson, you will be in good hands...  

To complement the fish,  we will also integrate vegetable dishes into lesson for you.
